I know I know, I have been completely missing in action. Honestly, I feel like I was MIA with myself. Don't have any excuses for why I was not staying connected. I guess I just wanted to hibernate. Too bad I could not run away from everyone around me. So secretly, I was hiding in my own little way. Keeping everything on the low key and just trying to relax as much as I could.
But I am back now! Ready to get things off my chest. I cant believe how cold it is outside..I want to jump in the shower but fear that once I step outside, my hair will freeze! I cant wait for the summer.
My comeback post is short and surprisingly free of drama! But not to worry..there is some drama that will be discussed later on today. I just need to clean myself up!

Bahama Mama Vacation Blues!
I am back!!!!! Paradise Island was a lot of fun. The kids had a blast and my husband was cheesing left to right on the casino floor all night. However, not all our vacation moments were smooth. The flight out to the Bahamas was a HOT MESS! Our 22 month old, Kiran, cried for the first 30 minutes of the flight. It was so embarrassing and at the same time scary. She just kept on screaming and trying to jump off my lap. We had people on the plane looking at us and "shsh shshing" us up. At one point my husband screamed, "What do you want me to do, throw her out of the plane". Of course no one responded to that.
We arrived at the Atlantis resort and fell in love with our ocean view room. Too bad my husband had a bad dream the night before and forbade us to go on the balcony..go figure! The Atlantis resort is great with the kids. The girls spend all day at the water splash area and I of course was with them the whole time. At nights, we would be back in our rooms around 9 pm and I would just crash! My husband on the other hand would give us good luck kisses and left for the casino with a huge 7-11 super gulp cup filled with rum and coke!
I could not believe how expensive food was on Paradise Island. I mean half gallon milk cost 6 bucks and a club sandwich ended up costing us 22 bucks. It was ridiculous! There were nights when I just dreaded going out to dinner since I knew it was going to be a 150 dollar meal filled with burgers, fries, and salads. Next time I will definitely look into the meal plan at the Atlantis...it may just be worth it.
We truly enjoyed our time! We got to watch movies every night and of course enjoyed the live bands at the hotel. The night before our flight Jay and I spoke of ways to help calm Kiran down. We decided to take her to the pool in the morning so she could tire herself out before the flight. We got on the plane and I started to pray..I was so happy when I saw her fall into a deep sleep for about an hour and a half. By the time we landed in DC, Ms. Kiran was wide awake and ready to run around.
Coming home is great! There is no place like home. I still need to unpack..I am not in the mood to do that nor in the mood to do my laundry! The best part of vacations is getting away, and the worse part is unpacking! Now I am hoping for a vacation with some girlfriends where I can relax, get some sun, eat, drink and sleep!

Vacation Mode and Thanks!
Its 4am and I just completed packing for our trip. I know I should have packed last night but I chose to watch TV and drink my cup of coffee. Amazing how we chose doing the most random things when in reality we should be focusing on a task..like packing! I will be taking a 4 day vacation from my computer but I am taking my diary so that I can note any drama from this trip. I am sure I will have plenty to write about.
Now to the important part. THANK YOU !! Susan from http://susanchapmanfobes.blogspot.com/ presented me with the I love your Blog Award. I cant thank you enough for your motivation and support.
