Blizzard of 2010 forced us all to stay home for the past seven days and why did I not think of potty training Ms.
Kiran. Who knows? I guess I am just being lazy about this process. I remember Yasmin was potty trained when she was 18 months and I would be so excited as I thought it was my doing. Come to think of it, it was never ME. It was Yasmin..she was one of those kids who took on to these things very fast. I just had to tell her once not to get Dora wet and she just got it! Meanwhile I keep on telling
Kiran not to get Dora wet, and all I hear her say is "oh oh"!
Kiran will be turning 2 in a couple of weeks and I think now its the time for me to take this seriously. I need to sit her on the potty as soon as she wakes up and then continue the routine ever 20 minutes. The plan seems so easy to execute but every day I wake up and tell myself that I will start tomorrow.
So here is my commitment. I will start potty training on Monday. This gives me the weekend to prepare! and what is the preparation...Not a dang thing..its all in my head! Wish me luck!
Good luck! My daughter was sooo easy when it came to potty training, but my son had other ideas. The pediatrician said not to be in any hurry with "this one" and he was right! Come on by to check out my guest post if you get the chance...
