This is 100% my opinion and I am not collecting any money from anyone or any firm. I wake up every morning and like an addict proceed to my lovely coffee pot. The obsession is not the coffee pot but its the COSTCO brand Colombian Coffee. Damn I love that stuff.
First trimester I could not stand the smell of coffee but that feeling soon ended and now starts my loving obsession of Kirkland coffee. The moment I pour that coffee in my mug, I am literally drooling. I cant even describe that first sip in the morning. Its like the best thing/liquid going down my throat (get your mind out of the gutter people)!
I am sitting here with my favorite coffee and thinking, I am blessed to experience this drink. To all the coffee lovers out there, I get it..I understand it! The morning cup of coffee is like winning a million bucks. I want to say that it overtakes a good orgasm but occasionally my husband reads my blog and there is no need for WWIII in my house. Anyhow, thanks Kirkland!

I do miss coffee-I gave up coffee and caffeine last May, on a bet from my students and because I was having this unexplained stomach upset. Well, it turns out I have "GERD" and the coffee was exacerbating the problem. I thought that caffeine free coffee (yuck, but worth a try) would still be ok-not! So, I envy you your morning Joe... LOL!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that Susan. I am telling you I really do enjoy my morning Joe! I cant imagine teaching and doing what other working moms do without that morning boost!
ReplyDeleteCoffee....the drink of the gods....and many manic mothers (whom I would like to refer to as goddesses!)
ReplyDeleteBut seriously...I love Costco, and Sam's Club...with a house full of teenagers, I like anything I can by by the truckload!!
However, I have not tried the Costco coffee. I consider myself a bit of a coffee snob, but you may have convinced me to give it a shot. Wonder if it comes in whole beans...?
Anyway, gonna go make a pot right now! I would love if you would pop by my blog and follow my musings!!

ReplyDeleteAreeba,
ReplyDeleteI heard from my obgyn that if you crave for coffee in the pregnancy, it can also mean you are low on iron.
