A Surgery to Change Life Forever...

Sorry I have been so out of touch.  Things have been busy/hectic/stressful in my personal life and I am truly taking everything one day at a time.  If you have been following my blog, you may have read about my sister's fight to cure Sarcoma cancer in her left leg.  Well last week we found out that after two rounds of chemo the tumor is still pretty large and wrapped around major veins of the leg.  So..tomorrow she is undergoing surgery where the Surgeons plan to amputate the left leg to completely remove the cancer from her body.  Please please keep her in your prayers.  We are praying that tomorrow they will remove the cancer out of her body and she can move on living a cancer free life.

We all know we have a long road ahead of us, but we believe in the power of prayer and know that HE has a plan for our family.  Life has its surprise and this surprise is going to change us forever.  Please keep us in your prayers.

  3. Oh Areeba, I'm so sorry about your sister. I will be praying for her and for all of you who are taking care of her. Here is a wonderful healing prayer: Thy name is my healing, O my God, and remembrance of Thee is my remedy. Nearness to Thee is my hope, and love for Thee is my companion. Thy mercy to me is my healing and my succor in both this world and the world to come. Thou, verily, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

  4. Thank you so much Susan! The surgery went well and I saw her last night. She is recovering well from the surgery. It breaks my heart when she tells me that her left toes are itching, only to look down and see that she no longer has the toes. I am sure God has a plan for her and we are all here to support her! Thanks again for your prayers and concern.

  5. Organic Mom: Thanks so much for the prayer. I actually said it over and over again while reading your comment. I appreciate your concern and prayers. As I told Susan, this has been a testing time for us and we know that HE has a plan for her. The true hope is for her to lead a cancer free life. Thanks again for everything.
